going to try and retrace that, im going to call seasonic in a few and see if i can get an official diagram though

i used dc current on 20 to check the 24pin , #3 was giving 2.5 and #21 was giving 5.x , rest had nothing frown.gif so i have multiple dead power wires?
i sleeved the twisted wires seperate and didnt twist them back up i wonder if for some odd reason that even matters

- i get worried going by that diagram because i only removed 1wire at a time and many of mine are not as that diagram shows

If you don't have a jumper between the Green wire and any ground wire, your wires won't have juice in them.

Like when you fill your loop, you use the PSU jumper to turn on your pumps.

im sorry but you are dealing with an extreme noob here, im still thinking i should of not bought a multimeter and paid for a pre sleeved cable and never touched it again im going to put my jumper on the ps on and ground wire but i still dont know what wires are supposed to read what and how to determine whats faulty or not.

im just going to hope seasonic has a harness diagram and that i miswired something because im stepping into the park of measuring, testing, and reading voltages and noone is going to have the patience to guide me

I'm mobile ATM. see PM

You need to check for continuity of all pins, but too much to type to explain it

quick question - so if i test all the "reds" and they do have power, but the computer wont boot up with that wiring, is it a short/dead wire somewhere else/ miswired connector?

the link that i put in my post has exactly what seasonic will send you.

ok so why are my wires all different if i did the sleeving 1 by 1 :/
i know you guys are trying to help but i can't just go out on a limb and try something.
if its the exact same diagram as seasonic why does noone have a 10+18 wiring harness picture frown.gif i guess ill be the first to upload to the forums

aside from that, im still derping in what i should be using the multimeter exactly for, i can jump the psu with it, i can read some voltages but i dont know what is supposed to be where in terms of power and what not
1 step closer from never sleeving again , i truly hope theres a wire in the wrong place because i did everything slow and neatly and still encounter this problem. if i can power the psu with 1.5v/12v from the multimeter in the ps on with it grounded and i cant jump the psu with the xspc jumper (paperclip style) iget worried on whats happening. all my frustration didnt sleep and go away, i hope you guys know what i mean

you are human and make mistakes? it happened to me when i did mine too. I have since switched to cooler master psus, since they are a true 1-1 , 24pin to 24pin modular system.

post i linked have the pin out... which pin goes to which. just not graphical

What should i do if the majority of mine are different, example, some grounds going to other grounds ( i truly did go 1by1 i mean i COULD have messed up one one but it would of been very odd since there was only 1 atx removed at a time )

now the psu jumps with the xspc jumper, tried to plug into mobo, got the mobo light, tried the power button on mobo and no power frown.gif at the end of the day i really hope this will be a wiring problem , would hate to have problems just for trying to put some paracord on my wires mad.gif

im going to eat then try to redo my 24pin 10/18 pin as that diagram shows

from reading the thread i should be looking at it from where the pins go in, not from where it connects to components? axesmiley.png
