Looking for a low end (<$700) with a high resolution screen

Hey, I'm looking for a laptop with a good CPU, at least 4GB of RAM, 13-14 inch screen, and a resolution of at least 1600x900 (preferably 1920x1080). Anyone have anything in mind? I'd like to keep it at the $600 level.
Any ideas?

I'd be weary of some laptops that support higher resolutions for lower prices, as for a friend of mine gone one that supports 1600x 900 but the CPU/GPU is so slow it can't run anything at that resolution other then firefox.

here is one i found quick around your price range, Im not too keen on the CPU or GPU they have, it is 1600x900 though, cant hurt to look into it~thumb.gif

I'd imagine any Core i3/Core i5 would easily drive a 1080p display. I have an old X2 5000+ on a desktop and it ran 1080p with ease. I don't care for the GPU, Intel HD 4000 is more than enough. No gaming of any sort going to be done on this; just need a reliable machine that will run Office and browse the web with a high res screen. I bought a laptop (Core i5 Sandy Bridge, 1920x1080 screen, 6 gigs of RAM, 6770m GPU) for little above $800 back in 2011, so I thought something with no GPU in 2013 should be attainable at this range.

Only laptop that I could think of is Lenovo ThinkPad.

Build your own ThinkPad T430 Laptop:

Change the Processor to i5 that is under i3. Doesn't hurt to have slightly extra performance for cheaper price.
Change the Display Type to 1600x900. That is what you wanted, right?
Change the Battery to 9 Cell Li-Ion. Doesn't have hurt to have extra battery life, right?

You'll be paying around 700 dollarish almost 800 dollarish if you didn't include tax and shipping.
However you wanted $600 dollar, so it'll be quite hard to find a laptop at 600 dollar section with the features that YOU wanted.

I might recommend you raise your budget to 700 or 800 dollarish.
It might help you a lot.
