Best low profile cooler for mini itx case

Thread Starter
Looking to build a mini-itx system and put an a10-5700 or 5800k in it (probably the 5700 since it consumes less power) and I need to know what would be the best heatsink to put in that would fit in a mini itx case such as the m350? There dont seem to be many choices, but I may be overlooking some that I have not seen yet

Why not pick up a cheap Corsair H40, its very compact, and as long as your case has a 120mm fan mount, it will fit. and will allow for some overclocking too

Wont fit, this is the case

http://www.mini-box.com/M350-universal-mini-itx-enclosure

The thermalright cooler may fit, but it will be cutting it close with the fan.

The case is tiny. I only ever use passive coolers and the small coolers that come with a AMD E-350.

im thinking im probably going to have to go with the noctua nh-l9a cooler. i would really like the axp-100 but i highly doubt it will work unless i can somehow mod the fan on the outside of the case to blow through the fins
it's about 7.5cm tall mounted on the mobo w/ the 14mm thick fan

NH-L9i should do you fine.

I have found reversing the fan so it pulls air away from mobo instead of pushing to mobo often gives better temps.

is there any real temp differences between the 'A' and 'I' revisions of the nh-l9?
