Question about making your own wires.

Thread Starter
Hi all,

I need to make my own 4-pin molex and fan adapters with wire. I know fans use the 22 AWG and 4-pin Molex uses the 18 AWG wire. Where did you guys buy the wire from (best and cheapest)? I don't know if there is anything else that I need to check other than the AWG rating when purchasing wire.

I bought the crimping tool from MDPC-X and a spare one for my Molex (from what I've read the MDPC-X is not recommended for 4-pin molex).

If you guys can help me find where to buy wire that would be great.

Thanks!

Your problem will not be trying to find those wire sizes, but trying to buy only a few feet.
22 AWG, 4 Conductors
