OC Newbie Thanks for having me

Thread Starter
So I have already started posting but don't believe I introduced myself.

I'm 29 years old, live in Fullerton CA, and have been building and destroying computers for nearly 16 years...

My first computer was a 486 and that lasted me only 2 months and I loved every moment of DOOM i got out of it. Then I got lucky and met someone that was an owner of a networking company names The PAJO group. It was awesome and I as very lucky because I fried my 486 and he seen the passion I had for computers at that time. He bought me all the components of a PC Intel Pentium 3 at the time was the newest Processor out and windows 98 was the must have lol... So thats where it started. I built my first computer from scratch and was given a free internet access point. It was Dial up 56k and man was I happy! I was able to play SC at the time with friends online and it was my goal/passion. Years went by and although I didnt chase the dream I never let go of it. So as of today I still build amazing Rigs for friends at no cost and even spend the time OCing them recently. It's not hard to get a little extra out of a Rig these days but I still have LOTS to learn so anyone here willing to toss a bone my way please do! I'll chew on it long enough to learn at least one thing lol.

Well Trust me I can go on and on. Here is my current Rig, Hoping to get something new but nothing is cheap.

OCZ 750Gold+
920 @2.6
12GB ram Vengeance 1600/1.5V (1066) as I cant get anything to work outside of OEM settings.
EVGA GTX450
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R
and that pretty much wraps this one up...

Ditto biggrin.gif These kids today don't know anything about "breakthroughs" like going from a 35Mhz 386 to a 133MHz (with the turbo button pressed) 486, or going from a 14.4 to 28.8 and finally 56K, or going from Windows 3.1 to 95 laugher.gif ahh the memories rolleyes.gif

Haha yeah, have come a long way! Lucky for me I know how great our systems really are now days with the dual/quad cores. Now we got 6 core processors... like DAMN... in a matter of 6/9 years we advanced faster now then we did before with over 20 years in the tech.
