3770K Build - Recommend Nvidia GPU (SLI in future)

Thread Starter
What 's the best Gpu for a 3770K Budget Build and going SLI later?

As of right now, the AMD 7950 is the best bang for buck video card on the market. It performs better than the 670 in most cases while costing significantly less. It is definitely the card to get if you're on a budget.

My 7950 is faster than my friend's GTX 670 and cost $100 less and comes with 3 free games:

It looks like to me that the 7950 costs about $290-$310 depending on model and where you get it. Wouldn't the 7870 Tahiti LE be a better price/performance at $200-$230 with roughly the same performance?
I would get a 7870 over a 660, but a 7950 to me was the best price/performance

Show me a 7870 that can beat this score with a mild oc of 1100/1500 with stock 1.188 volts:

i was able to OC my gtx 670 enough to beat most max OCed 680. so to me thats good value.

i would go with Nvidia because of there support.

two 660 would be really nice.

and sell the game if you can.

you should specify what the budget is.
if its really tight then check out the market here. theres tons of used graphics cards for sale.
i bought a few already but it was for other people with tight budgets.

Whats your 3dmark 11 score with your 670 overclocked?

A 660 non ti is closer to a 7850, a 7870 is faster than a 660 TI when overclcoked

I have been really happy with 2 670s with my 3770k. Never a single problem.

If you want Nvidia cards, I can recommend GTX 670s. I have 2 EVGA GTX 670s in SLI. I haven't had a single issue yet. Plug and play.
