Google just announced that it's combining your Gmail, Google Drive, and Google+ Photos storage into one big 15GB lump. The Google Drive storage page will also be updated to show you how you're using your space. Check out the Gmail blog to learn more.

This is great news! Especially for all of my Google Apps users on my campus!

I've been using Gmail for years, and never delete anything, and I still don't think I've cracked two gig yet.

Now what if you already have a 25GB storage plan? Is there any increase? Edit: My GMail says I have 30GB of space, so it looks like maybe there was an increase.

Awesome! Google would be the only company that does "cloud" right! Cloud in this instance being email, documents, photos...the only important things to keep in the cloud. I already store all my pictures locally and in the cloud. I can sync my Android's contacts, photos, and apps whenever I "update" it.
