Op didn't specify he only wanted to go amd so presenting him a very good alternative should be encouraged.

Op Haswell will be released in less then 2 weeks and many speculate a price cut from amd on the 8350 and 8320 so I encourage you to wait

Money left over for a case (all down to personal preference), HDD (if needed/wanted), and a CPU cooler. If the rumors about price dropping seem like they may be true, waiting could be a plus in the long run if it turns out as such. Also an FX-6300 would do just fine if you wanted to cut back on some money.

Just picked out the parts based on what I have seen around the community, learned about, and personally would get (for the most part, excluding a few things here and there).
