Well. Waiting for parts is the name of the game here...

Future Project Plan subject to be changed on a whim

Expected to receive my Spotswood Tray this friday wheee.gif

Maybe if my cards are dealt right, will order watercooling tidbits that same day.

Saving for a month or so, then some 1600 cl8 ram. lots of it..... lots!(FOR NO GOOD REASON!) kookoo.gif

Sweet, I've been meaning to run Cinebench on my machines but I haven't got it running under Ubuntu. Care to share any pointers on getting it running?

Downloaded Wine
Added the .exe file path into Wine's program list.
Cinebench will likely only 'sense' that you have 1 core. You can go up to properties and some option will allow you to select # of threads to use. I set mine to 64.
sit back and watch a helluva lot of squares render away.

I was shocked at how easy it was to set up.

Spotswood Tray!

My Tray showed up today! wheee.gif

Thank you Rich for all your help with planning and getting this wonderful tray to me. I'll be talking to you again real soon! ph34r-smiley.gif

I work with my hands for a living, so going from flat-pack to folding took roughly 30 min. Rich did a FANTASTIC job at packaging, and making things easy.

Craftsmanship was unreal, everything fit together perfectly. Better than my LD Cooling case for Box!

Seriously, can't recommend his work enough. http://richchomiczewski.wordpress.com/home/trays/

Oh. I got excited while building it so pictures.. well... ya, they are sparse doh.gif

Classy!

Having roughly $5k sitting on a pizza box gave me nightmares. Luckily an elegant solution is so readily available through Rich. I'll be adding his pedestal when she gets put under water. thumb.gif

That's what I was wondering about. Where am I going to put at least one maybe two 360mm radiators. So I'd need the pedestal, tray and then whatever extras?

The pedestal is nice to keep everything self contained and clean. I was toying with the idea of using radiator brackets and mounting them on the lid as well.
