Am I right in saying that, like M2033, this is an NVidia The Way its Meant to be Played title?

If so, the bias is well founded and completely expected. Both camps have their own side developing studios but I never hear crap about AMD Gaming Evolved titles, maybe because they need to do what NVidia does and bias their cards by coding for them.

Don't forget, business is business, this little setback could be what AMD needs to hold a candle to Big Kepler. Competition always fuels innovation. (Yes, I'm biased towards NVidia, get over it)

Hmm.. So ~78fps for me with PhysX off. Anyone that have this already know what type of hit I can expect with PhysX on?

Had to work early this a.m. otherwise I would have tested it with my AMD setup. I can't wait to get home and see how it runs. I will admit, for the few titles that actually properly use Physx an NVidia card would be nice!

Let's not turn this thread into a flame war...as both manufacturers make great products. I myself get a little tired of AMD's drivers, but I'll install the beta and see if that makes a difference. Although I must say M2033 ran perfectly fine on my AMD hardware at the time.

o well then, looks like i will be able to get away with maxing/no AA until i can figure out what i want to upgrade my graphics to.
been debating on 670 sli, so sli performance with this game would be nice.

Well we should see a driver update in about 3 to 6 months. If on current release schedule the next driver should be out between July 10 and 30th rolleyes.gif
The fact that Nvidia had launch issues with several Gaming Evolved Titles the last 6 months is on the other hand completely fine?

Can't remember issues with games other than Tomb raider. And that was because the devs didn't give them the final code in time, just a few days before launch.

The drivers for that were then released within few days. Bioshock also had some pre launch problems which led to bad benches before the game went live but drivers were there at launch iirc.

This is nice,

Borderlands 2, FarCry3, Metro Last Light were the main reasons why I did change my GTX570 to GTX670. I didn't like how the GTX670 managed to run Borderlands 2, with physX on it just didn't handle the game, so I changed it to HD7970 Ghz, no PhysX but a lot of raw power. Well... FarCry3 is still unplayable and what I have read in the internet and according that test result I'm not "winning" with this one either... All the other games would run just fine with GTX570.

Borderlands 2 didn't run on your 670?  That game is easily maxed (with physx) @ 1080p.  Oh well :P
