As are mine. Guess we have different definitions of what maxed out is. Mine includes 60 fps.

Even 560Ti is beating 7870 by a great margin. Either its the biggest driver problem or we might see the biggest driver improvement of the year.

Sad, The gap is very high, I don't think AMD''ll be able to provide 15-20% more perf with a new driver.

of course they can.   (except for Far Cry 3 :P )

How does the definition of maxed out settings include the FPS? There are no setting in the options menu to "max" the FPS. And average of 40-50FPS is perfectly acceptable for me. If I want to increase it, I can just lower the AA.

A Nvidia sponsored game title runs better on Nvidia hardware, what a shocker didn't see that coming ! Once AMD are allowed to optimize their hardware for Metro LL the performance position will be greatly reversed. Nvidia pay well to have games 'Optimized' for their hardware, bottom line is the 7970Ghz has more grunt and should out perform every other card out there except the Titan.

AMD will get a chance to release Metro LL drivers soon and all this fud can be put to an end.

So, AMD don't get nVidia's sponsored games code until after they are released? This true?

To each his own. Why so defensive,

By that definition then any card can run the game maxed out, even if its 5 FPS.

It works both ways, money talks. Remember when Tomb Raider (AMD Sponsored) optimization was heavily towards AMD on launch..

Nvidia have done the same here, the one and only recent Nvidia sponsored and bundled game somehow magically runs better on even low - mid range hardware compared to a full HD 7970 GHz part.. Think about it tongue.gif

But TR is the only game I know about and nVidia made a big fuss about it. It just isn't fair to hold 40% of gamers (AMD users) with poor performance. But not surprised as nVidia have done something similar with PhysX.

Is the Physx just for the benchmark or for the game as well?
