Titan System Overpriced $$$? - Page 2

I am trying to understand the point of this thread. He is hardly the first person to charge money for building a computer. Not to mention I have seen people try to pull in a lot more profit than $300 on worse systems than this. Are we just hating on a random person in Washington because he is trying to make money? I wonder if this guy knows that somewhere out there is a thread dedicated to calling out his Craigslist post... rolleyes.gif

He has all the boxes so I'm sure he could easily prove everything is new. Most likely he built it and is selling it for a profit. Nothing wrong with that. Factor in the parts plus the time it takes to put together and it's really not as outrageous as people are claiming it to be. Have to remember not everyone can put one together themselves and this is still cheaper than what a similar OEM would be charging.

Well I guess if your concern is someone getting ripped off, the best thing you can do is build the exact same computer and sell it for less. thumb.gif Problem solved!

I'm keeping a note in case I suddenly forget how to build a system. I'm sure people here would help to build it from scratch rather than advise a 300$ assembly. And yeah maybe cheaper than an oem but this guy we don't know how reliable he is.
So a guy we don't know about, charging assembly way too much on a machine that is already expensive like hell ... so yeah :
