I know that feeling. biggrin.gif That was me when I ordered my HD4870X2 on launch day... think brand was either Sapphire or Diamond. Woe was me however, I forgot that I was liquid cooling and there were no blocks for it yet! Had to pre-order my DD waterblock aka Snail Edition and use my test bed for gaming.

There are also midnight releases by some retailers. Will have to look into the Amazon thing. I am a Prime member so if there is such as a thing, I should qualify.

Update: Found this on Amazon

It says this (Click to show)
FREE Two-Day Shipping on eligible items.
Note: If the item you're ordering is out of stock or unavailable to ship, we'll get it to you two days after it's back in stock. Remember to check the cut-off time shown on the detail page. Items are delivered every day but Sunday, and orders over $1300 may require a signature.

Thank you for fresh info supply It is a paid service though smile.gif. I gotta try and see how page monitoring software works 2010Rig mentioned.

It is been a year of wait for 700 to arrive. I did not upgrade to 600 and got my hypes up to the next GTX series. I guess, I`ll go with Nvidia 2nd time. My choice definitely lies in the top tier cards, cant wait till the release. It is a little intriguing to speculate about the cards but with all the latest "fluff" flying on the net the fun is staring to spoil. Lets just not become too exited cause in case of GTX 780 running on a gk104 we wont be too upset. Lol ):

Good luck with your buy.

Do you live near Microcenter?  The day the cards come out, you can always swing by their stores and see if they have it in stock. They'll match any price you find online too from reputable etailers.

Nope, have not noticed one in my local area. There are literally 0 computer shops nearby. D: Thanks for the tip though.

then

GTX 780 500-550€
GTX Titan + 15% performance 900€

Titan = super theft

I was considering just waiting for the 700 series to come out, but with a 660 ti I don't see much point in upgrading unless I go to a Titan. Obviously we haven't seen any benchmarks, but my dollar would probably go farthest by just getting a second card.

Thoughts?

The one "problem" (for lack of a better term) is that the 660 Ti's 192-bit memory bus may be suboptimal for SLI performance.

It cant cost 500-550€ because then there's no point for Titan.

It honestly depends on what games you play or do with the games you play. Normally a GTX 580 would be enough for most of my games, but some of them that require modding end up causing CTD's due to insufficient memory. So, for me and people like me, we are more focused on the memory aspect as much as the performance aspect. If the 700 series is fast enough to increase fulfill your visual satisfaction and you do not need the 6gb of memory, then why buy something far more expensive?
