If I ever get into a relationship with that girl that leads to her living with me... I can see arguments happening lol

exactly this. the way I see it, If I would say 800 is fair because of their sneaky TITAN trick, then many many many more will probably say the same.

and dude, don't lol. sneaker heads are a no no! omg i hate sneaker heads -.- at least the money we blow on computer parts is an actual real investment and not some fancy attire lmao.

I would be able to live with that. We get along extremely well, but yeah.

She has like 6 pairs of the exact same shoe in different colors, and all of them cost over 150 bucks... rolleyes.gif

I too am in this same boat. Im leaning more toward the GTX 680 SLI. I just came from a GTX 480 SLI setup and loved every moment of it. Really didn't have any complaints or problems.

Well right now, I am going to settle with SLI 680 classys. If the 700 series comes out in the next few days here, depending on how expensive they are, I will SLI the 770, because i know regardless I wont have the money to SLI the 780's and still get my new monitor and case fans. I love the TITAN, everything about it. Looks nice, performs amazing, but one just wont quite live up to my time frame. classy 680's have some pretty good overclocking and I feel pretty confident they will make it through these years seeing that they are out perform the TITAN in every game by a pretty wide margin in the GPU world. Plus I can get all my new case fans, a corsair h100i push/pull, and if id like to, I can also get a new mouse, keyboard, and headset or not if I want to have a little left over to go out and eat and watch a few movies, maybe buy a few games to play instead. smile.gif

If I could have 2 TITANS right now, then Id definitely choose that, but there are other things i need to upgrade as well that will last me. It sucks that this is a one time thing for me and won't happen again for so very long... frown.gif

680's or 770's will be the best option for you with a 144hz monitor. You're going to want raw frame rate more than 6GB of Vram. You'll enjoy it. No reason to buy classies these days after they removed evbot though.

well if you have 2 grand to blow on upgrading like me, id say just go ahead and get 2 TITANS and be set. That is if you are ONLY looking to upgrade your GPU's and nothing else. If you have other things that need to be upgraded as well, like I do, then go ahead and get the 680 classys. Have never heard a bad thing about those cards except the fact they are 256bit memory bus, which is actually just fine. Hell the 700 series is still going to have 256bit memory bus as well so obviously the engineers for these cards are really confident that this bus is sufficient and i trust them lol.

hmm what is evbot?? never heard of it. But ive never owned the classys so that is to be expected. hehe tongue.gif

Never mind, I looked it up. Seems like a pretty handy tool. They took it off the market?

just blue screened out of nowhere, first time that has ever happened... uhhohh. instability somewhere. Sigh.... going to spend hours trying to find what this is..

Evbot was what made classifieds worth paying for over normal 680's, now they're just more expensive and provide nothing extra.
