This is why I love Corsair cases; they actually thought about the backplate cutout when they were designing them. I had to take a saw to my phantom to get the backplate cutout lined up.

It's not that Corsair is good, it's that CM is just bad.

The new version of the 690 II has a huge cutout, I got the first rev 2.5+ years ago. Progress and all that. And it's actually been about that long since I've blown it out....

Well, NZXT has been making properly sized backplate cutouts since the Switch 810. Some of their older and cheaper cases do not have a properly sized backplate cutout.
Fractal design is doing tiny backplate cutouts.
Silverstone is doing it for some cases.
Lian Li is not doing it for the majority of their cases.
I don't think Xigmatek is doing it.
No idea about Antec or CM; I haven't looked at their cases in a while.

Corsair seems to be the only one doing it consistently, of all the major case manufacturers.

Fractal design has the best for the price, IMO. The XL can hold an impressive amount of radiators if you mod it a bit.
