So not only have they just placed a tax on their most dedicated fans, but since not many people play that difficulty anyway they won't even make much money from it.
So what have they gained? They've pissed off some of their biggest fans to make a piddly amount of money. It tarnishes their whole game and reputation.

Erm.. You would think some of the biggest fans would either pre-order the game or buy it within a week of its release (since all of the first run limited editions contain the bonus). xD If they can't afford it right away, they'll just wait for it to get cheaper and it won't be a problem. I still think they're going to end up giving it away for free on PC after a little bit of time.

From what I've seen the UI is pretty minimal anyway so I sort of wonder what difference it makes other than being less sure about your ammo.

Absolutely not the case.

The best way to play Metro is with a full bottle of whiskey, a crippling case of depression, and an affinity for Russian horror movies.

After a couple of years since I started working, I haven't been able to keep up with the new titles...
A couple of reviews and seeing some screenshots, Metro looks good so far.
Reading through this thread only spurred me on so I've decided to start with 2033 before getting Last Light smile.gif

Do you guys think my rig handle this at maxed settings?

max setings as in MAX? NO! i believe that even the titan can't run 2033 at max settings, lol. this is just like gtaiv, badly optimized.
