I really like the Zowie AM but im exchanging mine due to QC issues, just an FYI.

Smaller company = less quality control IME because they need to sell every unit. Larger company like Logitech will have better QC.

I'm going to take a chance on one more Zowie AM, hopefully the fit/finish are better this time.

Well... Abyssus is quite a good mouse, if you don't need more than your standard mouse buttons and like the shape. I heard that it had some Jitter issues but correct me if I'm wrong I think they got resolved with later batches/firmware versions.

OP should really think about changing the title because there is no such thing as the "best mouse" because not everybody can use every mouse. Like I cannot use any Razer mice because they break every month and a half, or small mice like the Steelseries Sensi.

I can however highly recommend the Logitech G5 G9 (the older one that looks like the G400) and the Logitech G700. Both are fantastic. I would recommend my Cyborg MMO 7, as its my favorite mouse to date, but due to hardware problems (Philips twin-eye sensor) it breaks quite frequently (I had mine for 4 months before it became un-usable) so you would need to either keep 2 around, or have a backup mouse.

Well, if there was a best mouse, it definitely would not be any of the ones you mention. Those are all mice to avoid like the plague.

Because... Logitech has superior build quality to almost every company I know. My dad has been using the old G5 that I mentioned (I meant G5 in the previous post, Im just an idiot sometimes) for over 6 years without a single flaw. So please tell me the problem with the mice i mentioned (besides the MMO 7 which I already said was bad).

Care to shed some insight as to why?

My g700 works like a champ, have no complaints.

I don't know if it was this thread or a different one but as I said Logitech, Razer, SteelSeries and a lot of other mouse companies share pretty much the same components with a few exceptions. So well... you may have had some bad experiences with stuff breaking on Razer mice but there are also people that had bad experiences with Logitech or SteelSeries and say the same things you do about the other company. In the end you should keep an open mind and realize there isn't much of a difference between those companies. Every one of them source their components from common companies like Avago, Philips, Omron, TTC, have their plastic parts built by one of the few input device manufacturers and that's it. So next time the switches on your Razer mouse start bugging, don't forget that the same could've happened to your beloved Logitech mouse, that probably uses exactly the same switches anyway. Now guess what... a few days ago the left mouse button on my SteelSeries Xai started double clicking and since a few couple of weeks I also noticed the mouse wheel bugging around. But that's how things are.
