After the patch I'm surprised to see less than 60fps on my 7970. I'm surprised the dev's released such a patch honestly considering it's a "TWIMTBP" game! tongue.gif

Absolutely beast game played on an absolute beast card. "ABGPOAABC" should be AMD's new acronym! thumb.gif

We've been working very closely with this developer to add optimizations that enhance the performance of AMD Radeon graphics products without affecting the performance of NVIDIA products. We have a strong and talented developer relations team at AMD, and the optimizations we were able to collaborate on for the GCN Architecture are obviously paying dividends in the most recent patch. As people are noticing, performance is up significantly across the entire HD 7000 Series.

We are by no means done addressing the performance of Metro: Last Light, either. But we hope you agree that the most recent MLL patch was an excellent first step. smile.gif

It seemed to be great but I'm having a problem where after about 5 minutes of flawless play my gpu drops down to 30% usage and cpu down to 15%. Before it was like that from the beginning, now it runs great at first before reverting. I'm not sure if this has to do with the patch as I haven't seen others say anything like this. My temps are staying pretty low as I have an aggresive fan profile set. I'm not overclocking my card at all either. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. For all I know it could be some driver issue, but we don't have a new driver for this game yet!! *hint,hint...... HURRY UP

Yes, great first step albeit some artifacting and such still BUT it has a great improvement over the initial release.

Any articles or benchmarks that include the new patch? I want to see the updated standings of the cards.
