Amd fm2 build, need motherboard

Thread Starter
Any recommendations for best bang for buck motherboard with a HTPC running a AMD FM2 on Windows 8 with XBMC? Also, can I run Netflix on this build through XBMC Frodo or should I switch to Plex for doing that even better?

I would like silky smooth playback with anything that I throw at it. A good wired Ethernet connection is needed, I will have a SSD for my boot drive, an Apex HTPC case, and 2x4GB of DDR3 memory.

Am I missing anything or will the FM2 integrated graphics do the trick nicely? I looked at the i3's integrated HD4000 but it seems like FM2 is even better. The cost of the AMD chipset is about half that of the i3 too, which is surprising! Any ideas why?

Thanks

http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-128-572 probably one of the best mATX options, ASRock makes a mini itx board that looks pretty good. Pair that up with an a6 and some fast RAM you'll be good to go.

I have this motherboard. ASRock FM2A75 Pro4 FM2 AMD A75 . And it works great. They also make a mATX version of this motherboard also. But you can prob find an A85X for around the same price also. I would go with the A85X if you can. But A75 works fine for me.

And yes! The APU provides more than enough grunt to play HD and 3DHD content.
