I want to get myself a good point a shoot camera for around $150 ~ $200. I have never had a "good quality" digital camera and have usually relied on the photo function on my camcorder to take pictures. I don't know anything about cameras so don't have much knowledge about what is good and what isn't,. At first I looked at DSLR cameras like the Nikon d90 but they are way above my budget, even second hand ones seem to be going for around $400 and above. So I have been reading a few topics and decided to go for a good "Point and Shoot" camera. Will be used to take photos of Birds, traveling photos and photos of hardware and computer stuff as well on the side. Want something with very good picture quality and lighting effects such as the retro pin hole effects will be sweet too. But anyway I had to ask for some suggestions, also in case anybody might want to sell theirs I may be interested to hear from you.
