to be safe and futureproof i´d say take at least 600 or 650W thumb.gifrolleyes.gif

Quick addition. Sometimes the mouse and other USB devices are still powered on. Pretty sure this isn't just a BIOS setting since, lets say, I move the mouse, the lights turn off. Power supply might not be able and its feeding juice to components. Also the motherboard light is sometimes still on even though, the power supply is off (It will stay on for at least a minute). Pretty sure this is the power supply since the video card PCI ports are green, even though the power supply is off. It stays on like this for a few seconds 3~

I have only had two PSUs die on me out of the fourteen I have owned in the last five years, both were Silverstone. The first was a Strider Plus 500W that just stopped working , my warranty had just run out when that happened so i was SOL. The second was a Strider 850W that would squeal loudly if it was loaded with more than 250W, that PSU set itself on fire at just over a year old. It wasn't a beast of a system (Core 2 Duo, Radeon 4850 and three SATA drives) that brought it to an early death. I contacted the Silverstone RMA department as it was under warranty and didnt hear back, so i tried again for months but they never replied. Eventually the warranty period ran out and I got screwed, so I say screw you Silverstone. You make nice cases but I will never buy one of your PSUs ever again. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

The other PSUs I use for my personal bulds and for friends and family are Seasonic, Corsair, Antec and even a few FSP models and no issues with any.thumb.gif
