i love win7 and works great for "me" but hey as long as it works and you can play your games, who cares then right?!

I'm getting the same error. New PC, 3570k, gskill ram, Asus z77 ssabertooth. Ahci is on. Tried with each stick of ram. This is annoying.

EDIT: fixed by using a USB 2.0 stick.

Forgot to mention that, Windows 7 does not support most USB 3.0 controllers natively, I had the same issue as well when I had my USB 2.0 stick plugged into a 3.0 port...... thumb.gif
