What's ur stable voltage for lower clock? There's a chance you might have over volt it. You might have missed lower voltage and went too high.
Can you use offset?
On a side note, I think this chip can take more than what ppl think it can. Why else would intel gives you a cheap protection plan which screams kill you chip and get a new one on us. LOL just what I think, because they don't have to do this.
HAAAA mine also requires around 1.5v for 4.7 I currently run it at 4.6ghz 1.45v so I know its stable no prime testing or anything who cares no whea erros when gaming etc temps spike to around 80c during after couple hours....
If I plan on just getting another one maybe 6 months can I pump 1.5v through this chip have it last 6months and not damage the motherboard?
on a nice new msi z77 mpower don't wanna hurt it but do wanna hurt the CHIP!!!! lol
