Yeah 2 pumps is way overkill, the ddc pumps are very high pressure, they can handle a lot. The only reason you would need two pumps is if you had >3 rads and more than a cpu to cool. Not to mention the ddc are loud, and sticking two of them in a bay to vibrate is stupid and asking for a headache

I do like the redundancy of 2 pumps and pwm control on the MCP35X. And from Martins Lab having 2 pump you can basically throttle it down to 40-50% to reduce the noise compare to one pump running at 100%. Well nothing is set in stone yet till Haswell comes out in June. Gonna keep my options open.
