I'm thinking about selling my Titan (have to update my sig rig...sold one of my Titans a couple weeks ago) and getting 2 780's. I can have more power and in the end not have to spend too much, depending on what these come out at and what I can sell my Titan for. Either way I'll be spending less than I would on Titan SLI, and with ~10% less performance than I'd get with 2 Titans, I think I'll live biggrin.gif

We should really talk 780

How about those 780's looks to be about 15-20% faster then a 680?? biggrin.gif

In Canada here I'm seeing long weekend sales on the GTX 680 of $430-$450 after mail in rebate.

Galaxy GTX 680 $429.99
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=70705&vpn=68NPH6DV5ZGV&manufacture=Galaxy%20Technology&promoid=1079
MSI Twin Frozr III OC GTX 680 $449.99
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=70550&vpn=N680GTX%20Twin%20Frozr%202GD5%2FOC&manufacture=MSI%2FMicroStar&promoid=1079.

It would seem to me that the rumor of a $500 price tag for the 780 could be possible. I've been watching prices closely lately as I've had the graphics card upgrade itch since before titan came out, and I've yet to see prices for the 680s get this low. The best I'd seen before was around $470-480, so I've got my fingers crossed that this $500 rumor is true.

if these are $500 each then i might consider swapping my 3x 7950s for 3x of these

I don't think its gonna be $500. If it is there is going to be a mass exodus of Titan owners because you will be able to get 4 780's for the price of two TItans. Hell, I'll sell mine and get three 780's if they are $500....
