I would sell both, buy 2 780's and take your girlfriend out somewhere nice and take a break from gaming biggrin.gif

Lol, I don't really game that much. And I have a wife and a 3 yo daughter that I can take out every night whether I sell my Titans or not... thumb.gif

Once the 780s and Haswell come out, I plan on making my current system my backup system and giving my current backup system to my nephews biggrin.gif

If I were to wait for Maxwell though, Broadwell wouldn't be too far off either, I'd be afraid that the waiting game (CPU wise) wouldn't pay off though, feel like Broadwell won't be that much of a performance boost and it'll be more focused around tablets/mobiles again :< even though it will be a "Tick"
Heh, I've only just wanted to get a new system this year. So it's not like I've been like 'Oh I'll wait for this, oh but now this is coming soon, I'll wait for that' so on and so on, as I've said, I've had the same system for 6 years nearly and have only just wanted to upgrade this year biggrin.gif I'm a patient fellow that doesn't really get tempted by the upgrade bug. The only thing that needs doing with this is it needs new harddrives, as mine has failed many a time this year, which isn't bad, 5 years going strong on a WD Caviar Blue I think.

Take it from me, Intel isn't making drastic changes on the CPU front lately. So I really wouldn't get my hopes up for Broadwell with Intel's focus on lowering power consumption and improving their IGPU as you know.

If you're on a budget, you would be fine picking up a used 2500K + an SSD & New HD + Your choice of video card, and be set for a while.

Eh, not sure on the specifics, it's a Dell XPS 420 that I got back in 2008 haha. So I don't know the exact models of the MB and ram and stuff.

GPU - ATI Radeon HD 3870
CPU - Intel 2 Core Quad Q8200 2.33ghz
HDD - WD Caviar Blue 500GB

4GB of ram.

The only upgrade I've ever done to this is add a cheapo sound card, made a big difference though when I first got it (;
Some Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio thing.

Yeah, I'm betting it's going to be more towards that area too. So, for the tablet/mobile market. My budget will probably be around £3000 when I decide to do it.

I worked for Dell for years, even edited a tech support manual, your rig just gave me flashbacks.. tongue.gif
Is that the model with the 'semi' unlocked BIOS.?

MC will still push the limit on what fits the 150W tdp so no worries there I guess.
Haswell might be crap for you but it will be excellent in 2014 for me biggrin.gif

They'll be dropping in price now. You can get a MSI GTX680 for $373.
