LOL what?

US CDMA carries VZW 115 million subs. Sprint 56 million subs
US GSM carriers ATT 107 million subs T-mob 33 million subs

31 million more subs on CDMA between the major carriers here. How is that "dying"?

Not to mention all the rumors about the Nexus 4 4G being released soon. Google owns Motorola but they continue to release CDMA RAZR phones.

Bigger picture: GSM holds around three quarters or more of global market share, where CDMA has been dwindling and holds a quarter or less. Yes, CDMA is currently more abundant in the US than GSM. Keep in mind your numbers also miss a LOT of other "spinoff" carriers like Solavei/Simple/StraightTalk/etc. that are GSM based, closing the gap in your figures quite a bit.

No check swappa, you can get a Sprint iPhone 5 for $450 not $600. "Huge difference."

Granted on Gazalle a AT&T Iphone 4($150) is worth twice as much as a AT&T GS2 ($70).

It was an honest mistake. Still, I can't wrap my head around buying a $650 Unsubsidized phone. My AT&T GS2, Is worth $70, But my iPhones were worth over $300 After the 2 Yr agreement. You see my point?

I don't think the S3 or S4 will hold value Much better than the S2

I don't see Iphone after a two year contract worth $300, it seem you glanced over my post and didn't see that from the same source that said GS2 is worth $70 that Iphone 4 only worth $150 right now.
