That can be resolved with using more L1/L2 cache.

HSA:

1. CPU and GPU can now access the same memory pool. No more needing to copy data from CPU's memory to GPU's memory before execution, and copying the data back after the execution is complete.

2. Native C++ support on the GPU means easier GPU computation programming. Hacks with OpenCL and highly specialized C++ like CUDA aren't required to do GPU computations on Kaveri and future APUs

Good news, especially since FM1 was so short lived.

45-70 FPS is choppy looking? It is fluid for a youtube video as far as it goes. When i compare it with 680 1080p gameplays it pretty much looks the same. Sure larger maps would be more stressing but probably more on CPU side.

"However 2-4 x AA IS necessary"

I am not native English speaker, but do you know what that word means. Air is necessary, food and water as well... 2-4 xAA is welcome at best. I accept that, and it will not NUKE fps like higher settings will, so it is ok i agree.
For me personally i like sharp edges, AA to me makes everything look like i have bad eye sight, so i dont like it, but sure 2-4x AA makes difference, for bad or for good i am not sure, depends who is judging smile.gif

here is another video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA-RFdsEE9Q
More powerful CPU and gforce680 , same map.
Can you notice the gap in performance? Maybe, if you are REALLY REALLY picky.
That gap will cost you one HTPC worth of $ tho smile.gif

So let me ask a question, if this iGPU is in the area of 7750 or 7770 and you were to add a new low end dGPU such as a HD8570 in crossfire do you think that you would be close to a 7870 or 7950 level of performance?

I love Google Translate

Can't wait to see the Reviews on these chips and the OC potential.

These CPUs will probably be similar to Bulldozer where Bulldozer doesn't work well on AM3, thus Richland/Kavari wont work as well on FM2 as it will on FM2+

Richland is FM2 like Trinity, Kaveri will be FM2+.

Probably closer to 7850. It'd be better to use at least a 7750, I suspect.

To the debate about AA: FWIW, I do notice a difference between 4x and 16x AA, and 16x looks significantly better, so I always use it. It's not just a useless addition to make the game more taxing.
Also, the video from the 7850 feels to me like ~20-30 FPS, though it's probably due to his video capture settings and/or YouTube messing with the framerate.

Regardless, an overclocked HD7850 is enough to max out BF3 with a fairly fluid experience. (Keep in mind he's recording at the same time..That's at least a 5-10fps drop, more if he's using the same HDD to record to as he is with the game installed and it's not an SSD.)

I was happily playing BF3 maxed out with a GTX 470 which is about as fast as a HD7850 all around, 4x AA and Ultra settings at 1080p and honestly, BF3 is one of the better games in terms of jaggies...It's not bad but obviously having AA is better.

Imagine how awesome one of these with a HD7850 in Hybrid CFX would be.

And it's most likely a combination of YouTube and him recording at the time, my GTX 470 performed better on the BF3 maps...Let alone Metro.

Any news on when the the FM2+ motherboards will be released? I'm waiting to the A10-6800k to buy onewith mobo, but if it doesn't take much long I will prefer to wait for a FM2+ mobo.
