Folding@Home Natively on Linux

Thread Starter
I am currently CPU folding on a dedicated Ubuntu machine, and it has an old GT 630 graphics card in it. Is it possible to fold using my GPU without using Wine? Should I uninstall and reinstall my v7 client?

The reason why I ask is because this post mentions Linux support on NVIDIA cards http://folding.typepad.com/news/2013/05/core-17-update-video-and-reddit-live-qa.html

It is currently not supported natively under linux but they are working on it.

Welcome to the team and thanks for folding. biggrin.gif

No nVidia cards are supported with the core 17. AMD is not due to the lack of drivers in Linux.

Seemingly, NVidia cards are supported in Linux, currently in beta only.
