[PlayStation Blog] Gran Turismo 6 Unveiled, Out This Holiday On PS3 - Page 9

The ridiculous amount of time between gt4 and gt5 really took away any interest I had in the game. With the long waiting period it took for gt5 to come out, one would expect perfection. I did end up buying gt5 but barely played it, and will not be purchasing this one.

I also used to race in real life, and GT5 is my go-to sim with the G25/G27 of course.

Yeah well I own a Logitech Driving Force GT so I could actually change settings on the fly was very useful when you are trying to adjust to the Car, and it actually changes how the car drives.

Almost nobody knows that you can change settings mid race, like ABS, brake balance, torque balance etc... because the menu was never mapped as default to the DS3.

I changed to my controller for X for accelerate and R2 as breaking. L2 was the menu for on the fly changes.

You are probably right well My DFGT comes with default buttons for that, if I didn't have it I would probably never notice the game had that feature, they kinda fail at point that out.

Yeah, it's actual a really useful menu. I use it to help adapt the car to changing weather conditions and counter understeer when tyres start to wear.

man this game looks amazing.. i hope they have a mode where it mimics nearly 100% realistic physics. biggrin.gif

The game will not look like those screens. Last GT looks so bad even with a drastic overhaul, it will still look really dated.

Hell, NFS SHIFT is probably best looking console racer. Forza looks much better too.
