IBT 4.5ghz OC Low GFlops?

Thread Starter
Hi guys, so my overclock seems some what lacking. Using IBT I only get 60 GFlops, and in games I feel no difference than a normal clock. Perhaps my voltage isn't high enough? Heres a screen shot, any advice would be nice thanks smile.gif

Do you have SP1 for win7? I believe that adds AVX support which should increase your GFlops dramatically.

Well I did a prime95 standard in-place test for an hour+ and no crashing. My NVIDIA driver does crash sometimes, however that may be unrelated. As uninstalling my NVIDIA HD audio drivers lessens the crashes.

Have you tried running with IBT using more mem than the default setting? just wondering if its possible that mem/imc is unstable.

Now I just think my PC hates me, before I got a new cooler games ran fine. My board died by I RMAed it and got a new one, now whenever I try to play a game or online my GPU drivers crash, I've disabled hard ware acceleration. I've used drive sweeper, I've reinstalled windows. Everything but I still get stuff like this when I play games I use to get 60FPS+ in

The only edited black box in the small one for a person file, the rest is all due to my drivers crashing -.-

I've got a 2500k @ 4.3ghz, on IBT Standard each iteration takes about 8-9 secs.
As said above, maybe try updating the bios, and make sure CPU usage is 0% before you start the test
