Corsair H80i vs Noctua D14 vs Phantek PH-TC14 vs SilverArrow SB-E Extreme Which One is the Best and Quietest?

Looking to fit these on a Asrock Z77E-ITX, silence is my priority, so is overclocking performance.

Suggestions on fans to put on them would be pretty awesome too! thumb.gif

The space on your board to your pcie slot is pretty small, so you want a slim tower or something with a asymetrical design.

Noctua U12S, U14S, Heligon HE-01, Thermalright HR-02 Macho might be good choices....

THe H80i would be a safe bet though, as it would definately fit.

NH U12S with second NF F12, NH U14S, Antec 920/Thermalright Archon or True spirit 140/Prolimatech Megahalems

But which one is the best out of all of them?
The best out of all of them IMHO would be the Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E Extreme. They have the best noise/performance ration out of all those four.Probably the phanteks might have the same or even better performance if you switch out the fans. But without changing anything out of the package, the Thermalright Silver arrow SB-E Extreme would be better than all of those four.

Anymore input? Recommendations on the best silent fans I can put on them would be great!

Get the U14s, it already comes with arguably the best Silent fan.

I have PWM Noctua fans that came with the NH-D14 2011SE edition (the 2011 socket edition comes with PWM edition ones) and even at full blast are quite silent.

I had 120mm Helix fans on my GPU for a 120mm Antec 620 mod with the GPU cooler and both combined were close to silent.

That gives you an idea of I think it's the NF12? Forgot the # fans that come with the D14 are quite nice. PS07B case, relatively thin case walls and computer is next to my monitor.

i was looking at noctua's website. it seems like your board has alot of mounting issues due to the back of the board? make sure you look into your chioce on a cooler really well.

there is no point of putting a dual tower heatsink in an ITX mobo
