i still couldnt find the htt multi

so far ive done this
my ram is set at ddr400
i set ht<->mcp55 from x5 to x3 (seemed close to htt multi?)
cpu multi at x9
cpu freq is at 2.31

and now according to aibooster (mobo program) im running at 2080mhz just like before but with a 693mhz fsb

and it never works when i go over 2080 mhz
ever

I've just downloaded your manual and read through it - damn the asus site is slow!

Go to the Advanced Tab and then choose JumperFree Configuration in the BIOS. Then change AI Tuning from Auto to Manual.

CPU Frequency = FSB
CPU Multiplier = HTT Multiplier

That should help

hold your horses i told you id hook you up

ok if its similer to mine then this is what your looking for

in bios go to
ADVANCED
Jumperfree Config
AI Tuning -- set this to MANUAL
which should give you these options
CPU freq- this is your fsb, mine is at 260 up this slowly to raises your cpu freq

PCIE clock - set this to 100, some can handle higher but locks your pcie bus

cpu voltage- mines at 1.4vcore (careful more raises temp

DDR2 voltage- i have mine at 1.95 its max (not so good for ocing)

CPU multi--- 10x is what you should leave it at (10x 260 = 2600 mhz cpu speed)

ok now go back to
ADVANCED
CPU config
DRAM config
choice ddr2 400,533,667,800 mine is at 533, this is your ram divider choice

basic ram selections next tcl, trcd, trp, tras, mines 4-4-4-14, and the 1t/2t mines auto
CHIPSET
CPU MCP55 HT speed
this is your ht or whatever 1x,2x,3x,4x,5x, mines at 3x
CPU MCP 55 width use 16up 16 down

ok got it good

Hehe

Look in hte BIOS for more info

For the HT, you want to keep it below 1000mhz - your HTT is your FSB x your HT multiplier. Too low and you'll lose speed, too high and it wont be stable
