CES2013 show in the beginning of the year, silver Hin show the SG10, RV04 and FT04 New, the structure of the three all have one thing in common, the volume is smaller than the same type of product, space utilization is very efficient, because the internal structure after the extreme the press. SG10 SG09 improved form, and RV04/FT04 structure is from TJ08-E/PS07.

After six months of modifications, Silverstone the FT04/RV04 before the official release . Changes in the structure of FT04/RV04 the SilverStone product manager Macro make the answer of the new architecture is not to say that just to continue to seek innovative design to negate the vertical duct, does not mean that will give up the vertical duct . Later or in new products will see this unique design, of course, then what happened afterwards, now pay attention to the protagonist of the FT04 and RV04.

Review Fortress (fortress) series, FT01/FT02/FT03/FT03 Mini four products are vertical duct, that the motherboard is rotated 90 degrees to install the latest FT04 with a new design instead of the motherboard inverted 180 degrees Installation Furthermore FT04 did not continue to be used the FT03 the MicroATX of structure, back to the ATX big box design.

Site is in Chinese.

I've been checking for reviews on a weekly basis since this was the case I was considering for my Haswell build and this is the first I've found. Has a lot of photos including ones of installation and has some temp results as well.

Meh, the whole selling point of the Fortress and Raven cases is the 90 degree motherboardtray if you ask me, so this doesn't interest me at all... Anyone know why they changed it? smile.gif

Nice looking case. Especially fond of inverted ATX.

Not 100% clear about materials used... What is front and top made of? Is that plastic? If so, it is a big let down.

Well the best part is that at least now the motherboard tray is removable so it makes for easier installation.

There was a time Silverstone was making better looking cases. The new design don't impress me that much, the look of the FT02 made me pay the premium price, but this one will for sure not;)

Front door and top is all aluminum and the rest of the body is steel.

It's claimed to have better cooling in a smaller package.
They wanted to do something different than 90 degrees.

A smaller TJ11 would have made more sense.

Looks good, but it really isn't anything new. Just another decent looking black box.
Cmon case makers, wow us with your design next time.
