Can I talk about the best mouse I've owned?

From an ergonomic standpoint wink.gif

Logitech V150

After purchasing this mouse for my laptop many years ago, I quickly became adjusted to using and preferring a claw style grip, thanks to the shape of this mouse. This was coming off the firstgen MX500/700 mice. See the following,

Where the body curves in, is pretty much perfectly where your thumb and index fingers are, enabling the claw grip. I current use an Abyssus, and have used the Storm Spawn, these modern mice you 'rest' your index finger on certain parts of the mouse. With the V150 design, you "pinch" the mouse with either the end of your finger, or let the finger rest and make contact with the side of the finger.

I feel like the V150 is better ergonomically than these other mice because all 4 fingers are in close proximity and are all used to move the mouse around, helping to reduce strain. Compared to current mice where I feel like I primarily use my thumb and index finger more. Though of course, the V150 was a much lighter mouse than the Abyssus or Spawn, which also probably helped in this regard.

I would kill for a mouse with "curves" like this again. I feel like I can never get used to the shape of a normal mico-style mouse.

First thing that came to mind when seeing the pictures was the Razer Krait 2013... very similar in shape and dimensions.

From what you described I feel the same about "modern" mice. Fortunately there are exceptions to this and they might also fit your bill. What I'm talking about are mice like the Xai, Sensei, Zowie AM, FK etc. or smaller in size like the Kinzu or the aforementioned Krait. They all have a relatively similar shape which doesn't force your fingers into certain positions.

If the Krait was shrunk by ~20% I would probably be all over that.

From an ergonomic stand point for me it's the Zowie AM... which makes me rage. All it needed was 1 m/s more ffs xD

I don't have enormous hands or anything and think the g400 shape is the worst on earth, yet Krait 2013 was too narrow to me. There is no way possible you would think the Krait is too wide. The G100s is also a fingertip grip mouse that just came out and is about the closest thing you will find to this. You could also get a Razer Salmosa Asian edition, which is virtualy the exact same size as that picture.

G100s seems to have the same shape as the M100 mouse ... It's essentially a higher grade version tongue.gif and i like the shape of the m100. somehow somewhere i think g400 is decent
