Computer Misfortunate

Hello, so long story my Corsair H80 died a while back so I replaced it. Sadly I broke the CPU pins on my boards socket so I had to replace it with a GA-Z77-UD3H but that bored kept rebooting itself so I got a replacement. So far so good, except, my NVIDIA drivers keep crashing due to "kernal mode" but recover, all be it with my game crashing or they just don't and my PC reboots itself. My overclocks seem to have little to no effect, and if I do get into a game it suffers from very poor frame rates. For example Hitman Absolution use to get 60FPS constant, now 30-40FPS...
I have tried every possible fix, format, remove NVIDIA drivers using drive sweeper. Leave my CPU at stock, modify the voltage on my stock EVGA GTX 580, upgrade my drivers. Literally everything, so this is my last ditch effort before I give up.
Any help would be nice, I apologize for filling the board with my problems, but doing it on my own just either makes it worse, or frustrates me even more frown.gif
But theirs a bit more, I can't plug in my second 120GB hard drive. Well I can but it doesn't get recognized, either another broken board or curses are real.

Hi.
Try this.

GPU
1.Uninstall drivers.
2.Uninstall EVGA Precision X if installed (Don't save settings when asked)
3.Uninstall ALL Nvidia components/options from Windows Control Panel
4.Reboot
5.Install 313.96 drivers using NVIDIA clean install method (install ONLY the graphics driver and the Physx driver,NOT the HD Sound driver or the 3D driver.)
6.Reboot
7.Test the card BEFORE installing Precision X if you want to install it
8.If you reinstall Precision X, reboot.

SSD
Try different SATA ports

Revert to stock to do your troubleshooting
Clear CMOS
Which PSU?
