im looking to sli two 670's. i was thinking of doing two 680's then i heard the 670 is only 5% less and $100 cheaper. so here is my question.
what is the most powerfull gtx 670 that has 4gb of vram? is it the evga superclocked/ftw signature 2/classified/ or maybe and msi/asus variation? thanks! by the way il be playing games like battlefield 3/4 and crysis 3 and metro last light and arma ii. games that have really really really nice graphics and i want to play with them all on max everything. thanks!

Wait a few weeks, new Nvidia cards are about to be released. Worst possible time to buy biggrin.gif

If you absolutely must buy a current 600-series card with 4GB VRAM, the EVGA GTX 670 FTW+ w/ Backplate is what I'd recommend.

However, since the GTX 780 and 770 are likely to debut before the end of the month, I'd hold out for those instead.

i know im just trying to figure out if i should get sli 770's or 780's or get a deal if their is a price drop for a 670 or 680.

The 780 should be a significant leap over the 680, so 2x SLI of that would be the way to go if money isn't a controlling factor.

From my calculations the 770 will be 20% faster then the 670 - definately worth waiting

Only question is if there will be 4gb 770's at launch

A 770 is just an overclocked gtx680. The difference cant be 20%.

I would just wait a couple of weeks for the new series

GTX 770 = GTX 680.

GTX 670 overclock vs gtx 680 overclock games 5% difference.

I've owned both thumb.gif

Save yourself some more money and a get a 2GB card, unless you're benchmarking synthetics tests day in and day out.
