the xigmatek gaia is a very affordable alternative to the hyper 212. It also has a very low price point for the performance, it is cheaper than the hyper, and performs just as well. I have used the Gaia on AMD 965 BE builds and have had nothing but good success with them.

I understand you but i dont know how to use PWM fan. I will be able to use the software. But can i turn on the PWM feature easily on the hardware? How? My previous board was an antique thats why i dont know about PWM
Z77A-G43 has 3 PWM sockets so you should be fine.

You set the fan speed in percent to CPU temperature. Usually there is a low speed & temp setting and a high speed & temp setting. Just select the settings and see what happens.. change as needed to get what you want.

Alright then i got you. With PWM,can i set the fan speed of any fan i want ( regardless its 50 TL or 500 TL) or should the fan support PWM also?

PWM control is only for PWM fans.

Oh ok.

This is the cheapest PWM controlled i could find :

http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/So%C4%9Futma%20Sistemleri/xigmatek-cac-d9ia0-u07-apache-iii-intel-lga7751155-1150-&-amd-fm2fm1am3+am3am2+-islemci-sogutucu/productdetails.aspx?I_ID=65500

I will buy it and if i dont find it quiet , i can change it with an upper model in 2 weeks.

It writes here that it is 1200~2500 ±10% RPM . Using PWM and instead of 12 V, using 5 volt ( it was 5 i guess) output , can i hit slower RPMs like 800 RPM ,thus resulting less noise? Or will i be able to only surf between these rates specified? :

If you look at post # 7 the first cooler is Zigmatek Apache III and it is only 2.3c cooler than stock cooler.

I really did look at what you had available. wink.gif

Ah right smile.gif Then i will try hard to get Vortex plus http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/vortex-plus.html

I can set to lowest in PWM and get only 17 dba as you said. I bet the people who commented as "its noisy" at the website just overclocked the CPU or something, getting 35 dba.

3) 15c better than stock
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Xigmatek-Praeton-CPU-Cooler-Review/1562/6

4) 30c better than stock but appears to be built in fan.
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Xigmatek-Praeton-CPU-Cooler-Review/1562/6

Actually the Zigmatek HDT-S1284F looks like a good cooler. Uses normal fans so fan can be replaced if needed.. I don't know if it's PWM fan.. same 78-85 TL

Zigmatek HDT-S1284F isnt in stock either, thats why i didn't include it also :\

I will try to check those 2 (Vortex Plus and Zigmatek HDT-S1284F) if available in stock. If i still wont be able to find them in stock at weekend ( i will buy at weekend) , shall i choose XIGMATEK
PRAETON LD963 ? Is it okay?
