put the memory on the white slot and leave the blue slot empty (if you have 2 memory sticks)

since your motherboard is b75, you can't oc

also, try running stability tests like prime 95 or intelburntest.

this thread explains some of your problems.
the RAM has always been and still in coordinated slots. they are both on the blue one.
I wasn't talking about oc'ing it and i already mentioned I'm getting a z77 but that still doesn't answered my action. I used to get 22 fps on the physics test and now im getting 18-18.5 . I had a ~7300 physics score and now I have ~5900 on physics. the 3dmark site also says i failed the health check - http://www.3dmark.com/healthcheck/3dm11/6594641. WITHOUT ocing, what can I do to make it the way it was? that's a 1400 drop in scores

Reset everything and try to pin point from there.  I dont know what YOU want US to do, some people supplied advice, but its not like we can snap our fingers to fix it.

On my motherboard I have it set to load from my PCIE and there is a mode for speed or bandwidth with options of X2 and X4, I choose X4.  All I can think of via BIOS

All I can say now is you can to pin point the issue.  I would get a Digital Multi Meter and start testing out areas to make sure they are in the proper range.

put them in white slots
i heard that slots away from the cpu is the primary slots

What power setting do you have windows set at? ( balanced, high) Sounds like the cpu isn't using the turbo to go to 3.8 under the test.
