True, they know where their bread is buttered, Console sales are a larger target market then us PC guys, with our "Overpriced Systems".lol I used to think that way as a console gamer until I played on the PC and was changed for life. I then realized that people who stick to their guns saying console gaming is better is usually because they can not afford to build a decent gaming PC.

Nintendo refuses to integrate Origin.

Plain and simple.

They have their own software vending system, their own account system, and don't want anyone to mess with it.

I seriously might just end up leaving this website because of you people.

I mean, really? This is a tech website, and most people here seem to lack a basic understanding of how technology works. The Wii U is an entirely new platform. You understand that, right? An entirely new platform versus platforms that have been around for 8 years and counting.

The Wii U is EASILY more powerful than the 360 or PS3 when it's properly optimized. If these engines can run on last-generation Microsoft and Sony consoles, they can run on the current-generation Nintendo console. Any developers who say otherwise are lying through their teeth because they don't feel like taking the time to port their engine to a brand new system.

agreed for the most part. though it has nothing to do with the system being new. the Wii was newer than the Xbox 360 (though releasing a year later as part of the same console generation, hardware was a couple generations behind). it has everything to do with the fact that the WiiU is stronger on every area than the PS3 and Xbox 360, which crytek made this engine to work on because cryengine 2 either couldn't run on them or required too much work to do so. that's really it. cryengine 3 was designed to run on consoles with as low as 256mb of ram and pixel pipelines (PS3) so it's no shock at all it runs on the WiiU with something like 8 times the ram and a gpu arch several generations newer. seems like every WiiU article is either false flag, useless non-info or rumors, or the usual "nintendoomed lololol". maybe I"m just focusing on the negatives though.
