Anyone have THIS BUILD?

Mainly looking to see if anyone has overclocked a similar build. I am new to overclocking and i am using all stock cooling. I want to overclock SAFELY and do not want to mess anything up. if anyone has a build close to this and has overclocked please post your OC speeds. Thanks alot

Welcome to oc.net. Please fill out your system specs in the User cp at the top of this page.

There are likely people that have these spcs however anyone with the knowledge of overclocking can help you.

ok... i entered my system info so you can see it. basically just wanted to know what multipliers would be good for my cpu and ram because i am scared if i try to find max speeds i will break something. looking for a safe speed to overclock to, not trying to be all crazy. anyone who has the same cpu mobo and ram and has overclocked with stock cooling plz help

I'd get a better mobo if you intend to OC. That particular Asus board is HTT limited I think.

I am just getting a grip on the FX57 and A8NSLI--which is a generation back. HTT X3 CPU multiplier X10 FSB 270 voltages all stock RAM set to DDR333 but running at 2 x 220. I am running OCZ 2 x 1GB. Using an X1950pro.

So maybe no help at all...

I got my Opteron 165 past 3.1 on that board, so I wouldn't really say its HTT limited. However, that board does run on the warm side, so some extra airflow would be suggested!
