Asus G750 Officially Announced - Page 2

Hmm, what happened to the back exhausts?

I'm typing on a G73jw, 2.5 years after purchase still runs like a dream. I'll continue to buy this series of laptops in the future.

Theyre still there. Just not in those pics on their site, for some strange reason:

Just ordered a G750JH-DB71, the highest end model. Ordered as a vendor dropship so it may take a week or so before it falls into my hands. Hopefully sooner than later. smile.gif

Optimus was more of a hindrance than a help. There were lots of issues with it that capped GPU performance when you actually wanted to use the GPU to its fullest potential. Not sure if it got worked out but I for one checked to make sure it DIDN'T come with G750 before I ordered, I want to wring the most out of the GTX 780M that I possibly can.

If you want something handier that's better on battery and can afford it, check our Razer's latest version of the Razer Blade. Looks to be better in this department and they've done a fantastic job of packing a mediocre yet capable GTX 765M in too such a beautiful and slim chassis.

Edit: I picked up the 765M model instead. The daughter needed a new laptop and I got my mobility fix with an HP ElitePad 900 thumb.gif Nice unit, like it very much and the daughter likes it even more.

Anyone know of any ASUS reps on this board that could tell us when the G750JH-DB71 will become available? I have a back-order in for one and can't wait to get my hands on it biggrin.gif
