Question on ASUS RMA

Hey guys.

So I'm planning on returning my ASUS 670 soon as it has some weird power reportings, but I noticed the GPU itself has a different serial number than the box. As it was an open box, I though this was normal. The three year warranty still applies. Would I be rejected?

Bump.

I don't think the difference between the box and card would be that big of a deal, you could have bought 2 of them and gotten the boxes mixed up or thrown one away, right?

Just make sure the RMA # on the card is the same with their records, you dont need to ship the box out to them just the card itself.... if those numbers dont match then you WILL have problems. Make sure your RMA # is the same before you send it out or it will delay

As said, you don't return the box with the card, so it shouldn't matter.
