Also the AX1200i is overpriced and is more of a gimmick with the Corsair link software it does still not work 100% right

Also read these threads you find all info in there as well as reviews just open the spoilers

Super Flower Leadex is one to look out for

Says the man with an AX1200 in his rig tongue.gif

I can't get Super Flower or NZXT here in Norway, and with Fractal PSU's I have had bad experience my self, but I do enjoy the cases they make and is currently using one.
I wish I had more to chose from, but hardware is pretty limited in Norway compared to the US, even compared to Denmark where you live.

Yes i have a AX1200 and yes its overkill and every time someone brings it up i want to smash it overblown Crosair and its broken on top

And which Fractal PSU did you have?

Last you do know they dont make their own PSU´s right

Almost forgot coolerkit.dk has the NZXT units and they CAN ship to norway

Haha, no need to be mad at the unit mate!

I had the first 1000w they made (don't remember name), and to be honest I never liked the look of their PSU's.

Cool, but I prefer to order from the same country I live in when it comes to RMA cases, it sucks to send RMA to another country hehe.

It was the HX1000 i had one untill it got damaged and became more unstable then mexico city during an earthquake

Now i have AX1200 i got brand new and unopened for half price BUT the fan is broken

Now i feel like trying something else then CWT and Seasonic/Flextronics

No ones really looks at the units i made threads about for many reasons and i dont know why if you look some of them are super high end units

If there will be a 750 watts or 850 watts version of the brand new EVGA Super Nova G2 i have found my new PSU

Sounds like you have been unlucky. I have personally used HX650, 750, 850, 1000, and I only use different Corsair's CX/TX/HX/AX in my clients pc's.
Not one of them have failed in anything over the last 5years. This is also why I want to stick with Corsair as I truly never had any issues with them what so ever, unlike almost every other brand I have tried of sadly, but again it might be me that has been unlucky with the others I have tried.

Brand name sells, thats the reason I think. Just look at how it is with almost everything in the world, it can be the same product at half the price, but it does not sell because its not a known brand.
Building up a brand name usually take many years, and depending on how they market themselves they might never reach the desired effect on people.

Not really sure if I trust EVGA on psu's my self, I have seen several threads about dying units only after a short time. But that might not be the case for all of them.
I have had several EVGA gpu's now too, but I won't do that again, every single one has been a bad clocker frown.gif

But also the reason for me going with a 1200w unit, is because I am going to fully sleeve it my self, and therefor don't want to swap for several years, and since I like high end pc's and change hardware often I don't want to sell my unit that I worked hard on just because I need more power later on.

The old EVGA Super Nova PSU´s are made by FSP for the 650 and 750 watts and Etasis has made the the 1500 watts and the new 1200 watts all of these FSP and Etasis made units they suck or at least i think they do

The new Super Nova G2 on the other hand is based on the brand new Super Flower Leadex units read the review

Just wanted to chime in with very recent experience with exactly this.

I have 2x 780 classifieds which ran perfectly fine with my oc'd 4770k on a AX860i.

Then I got a evbot and started OCing the 780s pretty hard, The wattage was easily getting into 1100 territory! I didnt realize what was happening until it was too late and my 860 died.

So if you are planning on OCing the 780s with high voltages along with oc'd cpu and ram, youll need something more than 860w. I just got an AX1200i today and my wattage isnt going over 1100 smile.gif

(F( my ram is at 1.65v and my cpu sometimes is at 1.3v, so my experience is not universal... you can definitely get away with a 860 if you aren't a voltage nut)

Damn... I was hoping to run 2x 780 at 1.2v a oc 4670k all watercooled on AX850. What should i do now? Sell the AX850 and get supernova g2 1000?
