Need help choosing my next mouse , DA black died on me , thinking about Steelseries sensei or sensei RAW - Page 2

For finger/claw grip users, I can strongly recommend the Coolermaster Spawn mouse. I am a rather good Bad Company 2 player, and really needed a mouse which would be accurate and offer "fingertip" accuracy. When selecting a gaming mouse 1:1 accuracy of its movement to the cursor is important, as is a level of precision (but I personally feel anything above 1800 DPI is overkill given human limits as well as current monitor res). I tested a number of mice and discovered that the shape of the mouse and how it sits in the grip is also extremely important. I have tested:
  • Razer Deathadder - is a bit too tall, long, and heavy for fingertip grip.
  • Razer Abyssus - smallest mouse I tested, was TOO small for my hands.
  • Logitech G9x - the most expensive mouse in my test collection. Shape was ok, but I didn't like the rough surface. Also there are reports of built-in acceleration which defeats the 1:1 requirement, and I was able to detect this acceleration in tests. This is the mouse I least liked.
  • CM Storm Spawn - Amazing mouse for me. Perfect tracking, and perfect shape. My grip is "fingertip" where the palm does not touch the mouse. I find the Spawn gives perfect finger placement areas: thumb and pinkie on the sides for pushing, as well as a "ledge" for the ring finger. The index and middle fingers sit perfectly on the main buttons ready for action. And the rubber surfaces on the sides help with grip as well.

For me the mouse works best with a "slow" surface such as the Steelseries QCK mousemat. Most fingertip/claw grippers use high mouse sensitivity whereby a small mouse motion results in large cursor movement. I did try a "fast" low friction mousemat, and found the friction/resistance too low for controlled, precise movements. Low friction mats are perfect for low-sensitivity palm-grippers, but for fingertip/claw I recommend slow cloth mats.

Mionix Naos 8200 best one for comfort or Vengeance M90, software and Macro are very helpful. Razer is not good anymore.

Sensei, Naos 8200, M90 all have the same inconsistent and acceleration-ridden tracking as the G9x.

i'm looking at the CM Storm Spawn , i have to say , it looks really amazing , but on the other hand it remind me my G9x , and i hate my g9x =\

Why don't u get the new DA 2013? I had a Sensei for 3 years i loved how the mouse worked with steelseries engine, its performance, except sometimes the accel from the sensor and the fact that was so sensitive that the tiniest dust on it would scramble it. I sold mine and got the new DA 2013 and its awesome, the coating is quite better than the Xai and the Sensei fnatic, the sensor from the DA is amazing.

Think about it.

If you do not want the DeathAdder 2013, Cooler Master should have a new Spawn, so you could wait.
