Need help picking out a motherboard

Thread Starter
Just got an i7-3770k from the Intel Deal for Retail Associates, but now I need help picking out a motherboard. It's LGA 1155, and would be going in a Thermaltake MK-I.

My limit is around $300. Anything higher and the wife will kill me. I would prefer something with UEFI BIOS, plenty of PCI-E slots (3.0 also preferred), and a decent amount of SATA ports.

I was thinking about the DZ77GA-70k, which from what all the reviews say, is a perfect companion for the 3770k, but any thoughts or input would be appreciated!

This is my favorite. Way under your budget and ideal for some decent OC'ing (good VRMs and heat sinks). Plus, the BIOS is simple and intuitive (3D BIOS).

It's... beautiful... Way better than what I was looking at. Never thought of Gigabyte. Was always an Asus guy, but for that price and those features, I might just have to go for it!

With Z77 your best bet is a Gigabyte board.

The UP5 is within your budget and is the second best Z77 board in my opinion:

If you want a better value board then the UD3/UD4/UD5 would be preferred.
