I have been going back and forth with a number of people and my head is now so clouded full of opinions and review results I'm just al herp a derped out of my mind. So I decided to create a poll to help decide which is the best damn card for the money. These are Canadian prices and I don't want to hear about anything to do with screen size I don't care. I wouldn't mind if you tell me why you picked the one you did though.

p.s. I bet some of you thought this was going to be a Nvidia vs. AMD thread tongue.gif

7950 > 7870, the end

the 7870 LE is a great step up from the Pitcairn 7870, but it's still a 7870

Are these the only options? I'd go with a 7950 but I wouldn't go with that specific model.

Looks like NVIDIA has the same slogan for GeForce pricing.

HD7950 gets my vote. the 7870 tahiti LE cards are nice cards tho and once overclocked can match a 7950, but then overclock that 7950 and things change. 7950's are great perf / $$ cards as well

Depends on your gaming needs, resolution and your budget. If you can easily afford the price difference then a 7950 is obviously a more powerful video card. However the 7870 is a great card for 1080 gaming and will give an amazing experience that you will not regret buying.

My only advice is I would skip Powercolor and go Sapphire.
