Which Heat Sink do I need?

Following from this recent threat http://www.overclock.net/t/1388570/what-could-be-next-for-amd/30#post_19931118

Currently I am looking to over... overclock my cpu so I can wait for the STEAMROLLER IN PEACE next year or the end of this year. (see RIG for my pc specs and the chip i want to..overclock.). Good overclocking means stock fun wont be great will it? NOp. Therefore I am thinking of buying a very good heat sink... but affordable.

Right now I am looking into these below, and I will be the happy man if you could spot out the better one and why I should go for it (experience or I own 1 can be a good evidence to convince me)

Those I am currently looking at are
1 Noctua - Heatsink Dual Fan - NH-D14
2 H90 or H80i corsair
3 Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU Cooler - Blue
and http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Fans+%26+Cooling/Air/Zalman+CNPS12X+Triple+Fan+Performance+CPU+Cooler+?productId=53265&rqcType=c#rqc

Will be happy if you could think of any better than these or choose one from these and why. Budget is awful... less than 70 pounds or 10 pounds more. Thank you smile.gif

Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E Extreme > Phanteks PH-TC14PE > Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E > Noctua NH-D14 in terms of performance.

The best overall is the PH-TC14PE in my opinion, it looks great, is reasonably quiet and it's a great performer. The Silver Arrow SB-E Extreme comes with high RPM fans so can get pretty loud.

I'm not a fan of closed loop coolers.

Thanks for the first suggestion. Sorry that I forgot to mention earlier in the thread that I don`t like a loud fun. Lets hear from other people opinions too.

This is an exception. It actually uses a quality pump and radiator unlike the rest of the closed loop coolers.

those rankings are false...

synthetic bench tests for pc cooling are great except if you choose to use a real cpu instead of a peltier (TEC)

FrostyTech Mk.II Synthetic Thermal Test Platforms
http://www.frostytech.com/testmethod_mk2.cfm

nothing wrong with FrostyTech ranking that I can see
Frio > NH-D14 > PH-TC14PE
