Looking for new mousepad for gaming

Thread Starter
My stack of paper isn't cutting it as a gaming mousepad so I'm going to buy a real one to use with my Cyborg M.M.O. 7. I would like something with a built in wrist rest so i was looking at the Razer Vespula but the reviews I read said it had some quality issues.

Hard or cloth?
Preferably hard for the durabilty but I do want it to be portable too so nothing too heavy.

Rough or smooth?
I prefer control and precision over speed so i think that would mean rough but i donno

Which size approximately?
About 9"X12"

What's your maximum budget?
I would like to spend less that $25 but could go up a little for the right one.

Thanks everyone!

This is what I currently use:
http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=E00B-00-000006

I've had it for a year and it hasn't worn out one bit. Yeah, sure is not the prettiest design but the material is built to last. (It is also waterproof, so sweat or gamer smegma wont build up on it)
I am a competitive FPS player, and I can safely say that this mouse pad will give you the control and precision you are looking for.

I'm worried that the rubber on some of the cloth ones will dry out and start to crumble or that the cloth will start to fray. Is this a legitimate concern? Also if I go with a mousepad without a built in wrist rest, is there a rest that people would recommend?

That seems to me to be the opposite of what the OP wants.

Most cloth pads I've used last very well, but based on your comments in the OP it sounds to me like an aluminum pad would suit you, they're hard pads but with a relatively slow glide, something like this.

How is that the OPPOSITE?

It meets every one of his requirements.

It's hard when on a surface, pliable to transport. (Probably a medium surface)

It's tacky like a cloth pad and has more control than speed, but doesn't have the sticky "initial move distance" like cloth pads.

It's close to his size requirement.

It's under his budget.

Nor will it fray.

I've owned everything mentioned (including the titan) and I do not believe it's what he's looking for. Besides, the Titan doesn't track well with some optical mice (mx518, Naos are two specifically)

Not sure why you want a built in rest. For me they just get in the way. I prefer aluminum, so I bought a Mad Catz Glide 9. It will be coming Monday. The red surface should look good against my glossy black MMO7.
The Razer Goliathus is a pretty fast pad, pretty sure he wants a slow glide.
