I still stay by my statement that ppl who think their 690 is stuttering @60fps are wrong. They hear stories about multi-GPU isn't as smooth so they notice every hick-up. That's called autosuggestion. It's the same with ppl who think their CF is smooth.
Please tell me all about the 690 you are running personally. I didn't know a damn thing about frame delivery or that it was the cause of the problems I saw. I literally had no idea it was even a thing, but I was unhappy with my experience on the 690, and I attributed it to SLI long before doing any homework on the subject or purchasing my Titan.

So if I turn on radeonpro and use dfc to completely eliminate stutter, does that all of a sudden make CFx OK? Or since you haven't seen it, it is still a stutter mess in your eyes? Because that is essentially what a lot of you are doing. Trying to tell people something you have no experience with is just asinine.

So I am basing on real 60FPS experiences.

I agree with what you said. Yes, I notice whenever my frame-rate drops below 60 fps. I agree about CF not being as smooth as FRAPS would suggest (which is the only way a regular user can measure frame-rate) b/c it has been proven. But the same goes for 690, it's been proven that nVidia did a great job there. There are still some games, altho rare, that are broken for Sli, that is why I won't have 2 GPU's, but things are much better then before. In games like BF3, Crysis 3 and most others 690 works pretty much the same as the Titan, only with higher frame-rate, so offers better experience.

This is known for all cfx/sli users, if you get a 2nd card and pray to have the best experience ever without tweaking the system or using 3rd party tools it dont go like that.
Now after all this last 2-3 months drama maybe the noobies get what they wish for a plug and play in the not so far future..

I dont see no difference than overclocking a cpu to get the best of it = as the same on a dual card setup.. I mean i dont run a second card to run a game @ 30-40 frames at my desirable resolution...
I want constant 60 as a avg period with high frame min drops...

Hmm. I beg to differ, seeing as I noticed a problem before I even knew what it was.

I very well could go buy two more Titans right now if I wanted, and I would still be able to afford all of my bills for the next month off of work and then some, but I'm not going to. So, beyond the very obvious... what are you getting at here?

I want to thank you for setting the new trend of 1k price point of not so powerful gpu....go ahead and buy 2 more, I'm sure it will make you special owning three titan....

But on a more serious note, top shelf, flagship models have always been expensive as hell. I don't see you complaining about the 7990 being 1100+ dollars. Or the 690 being 1000 dollars, but god forbid I buy a Titan at the same price point when it offers, what I and many others consider to be, an equal or better value. (To the 690, I can't argue the 7990 at all).

So your point is irrelevant. You have misunderstood what is we are talking about please scroll the down thread where the is a link about frametime research.
That's why all the 7970 reviews up until december 2012 complained about it? I still find it hilarious people say CFX is a placebo. How can you not notice that you're getting the same FPS with 2 cards as you would 1? I'd would notice that right away. People who buy CFX typically run high resolutions or multimonitors and they would notice if they were still getting 30fps instead of more with the addition of a second card. CFX might not be as smooth as SLi but statements like "the game feels like 30PFS even it is running at 60FPS." are BS and you know it.

Reviewers who reviewed the powercolor 7990 didn't complain about it feeling the same as 1 7970 or feeling less smooth then 690. This thing got blown out of proportion by that techreport article in december 2012.

Bashing either one of them, then crying about how it isn't a good value is simply off topic, we are not discussing whether or not it is a good value.
At this point, I have owned both, and I would not purchase either.
